Introduction
These Terms of Certification ("Terms") shall apply to any User of Frappe School who shall opt for any type of service in relation to ERPNext Certification courses on our Frappe School website ("Services"). The Terms shall be subject to constant improvement and amendments by way of alterations to the existing Terms. The User shall be obliged to visit the website from time to time to stay abreast of the new changes. Frappe shall possess an exclusive authority to amend these Terms, and a failure to expressly reject a proposed modification or addition will not be interpreted as acceptance of the change or addition. ERPNext Certification shall be awarded to a candidate on successful completion of the course evaluation(s) so subscribed by them provided by Frappe. The Terms has been drafted in order to lay concrete particulars as to the terms and conditions surrounding the ERPNext Certifications, which are enumerated as under:
Definition
A “Candidate” is defined as an individual above the age of 18 (eighteen) years, who formally admits himself to the training offered by Frappe School by subscribing to one or more of its courses and paying the corresponding amount to avail the facilities.
Certification and Evaluation
  1. The candidate has no obligation to attend training for him to be eligible for the performance of evaluations. A candidate, who has attained 18 (eighteen) years of age and who has bought a subscription to a certification shall only be eligible for the evaluations corresponding to the courses made available by Frappe School.
  2. ERPNext Certification is a service offered by Frappe School where candidates are evaluated on the version of the module that forms the part of the training. It must be noted that the certification alone does not guarantee product expertise over all ERPNext versions and/or modules.
  3. Certification and training will be carried out according to the standard ERPNext features, and does not ensure coverage of every possible use-case one might encounter in the real business. The mapping of use cases is premised solely on the expertise of consultants.
  4. Evaluation shall consist of oral as well as hands-on reviews on product expertise.
  5. The candidate shall be evaluated by means of a Quiz and Question and Answer, as regards to the hand on review exercise, the candidate shall be required to create entries in the test account.
  6. The exact pattern of the evaluation and its duration shall be notified by Frappe School Team. Frappe is free to alter the format, duration and pattern of evaluations according to what it deems fit in the best interest of the candidates.
  7. The candidate is required to complete evaluations within three (3) months of the date of registration for the training.
  8. If a candidate fails to complete the evaluation within three (3) months from the date of registration for the training, the candidate shall still access the course but will not be awarded any certification on completion of such training. The candidate has to re-enrol for the said training to obtain the certification if the three (3) months period has lapsed.
  9. To gain certification a candidate must score at least 70 (seventy) % in the quiz, Question and Answer Session, and be able to map scenarios in the one-on-one review session to the satisfaction of the evaluator. An inability to perform according to the above mentioned mandate may result in failure of the candidate.
  10. In the unfortunate event of failure of a candidate, the candidate may request a retake of the same via the LMS portal of Frappe School and they shall be provided with another opportunity to appear for the evaluation.
  11. The number of retakes cannot exceed three(3) under any circumstances. If a candidate fails to attain certification even after three (3) attempts they will have to re-enroll in the training program to appear for subsequent attempts of the certification.
Evaluation Rules
  1. Before the evaluator enables the candidate to begin the exam, the candidate must present an official valid identification document with a photo of themself to the evaluator.
  2. The candidate must under all circumstances complete the exam on their own and without assistance. Assistance of any kind is not permitted.
  3. Candidates have a restricted amount of time specified by Frappe to complete the exam, which shall not be interrupted.
  4. Candidates must follow the directions of the evaluator.
Violation of Evaluation Rules
  1. If an applicant disrupts the exam or violates any exam rules, the candidate will be promptly removed from the exam.
  2. In the event of a major violation of the exam rules, all ERPNext Certifications previously issued to a candidate will be nullified, and the candidate will be barred from taking subsequent evaluations.
  3. If there is a minor violation of the exam guidelines, the exam will be graded as a "fail." The candidate may retake the exam if the rules for retaking the exam are followed. Any copyright infringement or other unlawful harm to Frappe would be considered a major violation of the exam rules.
  4. When determining whether an infringement is substantial or minor, Frappe will consider its obligation of justice. A written notification will be sent to the candidate in question.
Intellectual Property
  1. Copyright protects the exam questions and tasks, and they must not be written down, copied, recorded or otherwise reproduced in whole or in part, or made available to others in any way.
  2. We provide you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use our Services, subject to these Terms and our rules (including the Acceptable Use Policy, and other terms). Unless you acquire Frappe's specific permission to use the content in any other way, you may only download anything from our Services for your personal, non-commercial use. You further agree that, unless Frappe expressly permits otherwise, you will create, access, and/or use only one user account, and that you will not share access to your account or account information with any third person. You do not acquire ownership of or intellectual property rights in our Services or the content you access by using them.
Payments
  1. In case the candidate, after making full advance payment of the course, fails to appear for trainings AND evaluations, they can :
    • Request for 50 (fifty) % of the fee refund by writing a mail to that effect to the Frappe School Team, or
    • Write a letter(via mail) to the Frappe School Team requesting an extension of the Evaluation Period. However, granting an extension, the period of such extension and/or processing the refund is the absolute discretion of the Frappe School Team and shall be considered on a case to case basis.
  2. All the payments must be made wholly and in advance.
  3. Mode of Payment: Frappe School only accepts Wired payments the details of which are provided as under :

Miscellaneous
Following the completion of the exam, Frappe may store the exam results in a database as indicated in the applicable data privacy statement in order to determine, if necessary, what certification a candidate holds and whether a candidate can be admitted to further exams may further use the information to give targeted information to certified candidates and to enable certified candidates to retrieve specific information.

Certification does not guarantee successful implementation for a certified consultant or company hiring a certified consultant. Frappe doesn't have any liability for the certified consultant's ERPNext implementation.
